Preliminary rounds will feature up to six bands performing a 20 minute set of primarily original music. One cover song is allowed per performance.

One winner from each preliminary night (April 3, 4, 5, 10, & 11) will be chosen by audience vote and will advance to the finals, to be held on April 19. Each finalist act will have a 20 minute performance, to include a maximum of one cover song. The winning act will be chosen by a panel of music industry professionals and Nightfall Concert Series representatives.

All shows are taking place at The Granfalloon, located at 400 East Main Street, Chattanooga, TN, 37408.

The advancing band from each night of the series wins a cash prize of $300, while the overall winner receives a 90 minute headline performance spotlight at the Nightfall Concert Series (which pays $1000) on May 16, 2025.

In addition to their headlining spot at Nightfall, the winning band will also receive a performance spot during the Highland Park Porchfest event, a single recorded and produced at Songbird Foundation's Deadbird Studios, as well as a $25 gift card to each band member and a two song, live session recorded and produced by Yellow Racket Records.
